Hope is always personified as a young girl going out in adult dress for the first time, raising her skirt clear of the mud.
The coin has a good green patina.
This is probably a contemporary copy issued by the Roman army.  Following the invasion of Britain in 43 AD, the army in Britain ran short of money to pay its troops so began to mint its own to avoid a potential crisis.
